About me

I am 28 years old and live on the rural outskirts of Athens, Georgia. I recently completed my M.S. in Foods and Nutrition at the University of Georgia in December 2010 and am currently completing a dietetic internship as part of the requirements for becoming a Registered Dietitian. I hope to take the RD exam in August 2011.

I have inclinations towards running and healthy eating, though there seems to be an inner lazy bones and glutton inside of me, trying to slowly sloth her way out. I believe that it is what we do that makes us who we are and that action is the best distraction. Feel free to comment on anything; I’m always looking for new blogs to follow. I’m also a proud member of the Brooks ID program and want to give a shout out to Brooks for helping to keep me (and my feet) running happy. I’ve been running steadily since 2006/2007, completed my first two half marathons in November 2008, and my first marathon in March 2009.
